How to Perform the Test
- Review the package insert completely before testing and allow the sealed test device and urine specimen to reach the required testing temperature.
- Remove the test device from its sealed pouch and remove the protective cap from the test strips.
- Immerse the exposed strip ends vertically in the urine specimen without allowing the urine level to pass the marked maximum line.
- Remove the device according to the timing provided in the package insert, replace the cap and place the device on a clean, level surface.
- Read the results at five minutes and follow all interpretation limits stated in the package insert.
Important: The package insert supplied with the test is the controlling source for specimen requirements, immersion time, result-reading time and procedural limitations.
