How to Perform the Test
- Allow the test card, urine specimen and controls, if used, to reach room temperature between 59–86°F (15–30°C).
- Remove the test card from its sealed pouch and use it promptly.
- Remove the cap from the end of the test card.
- With the arrows pointing toward the urine specimen, immerse the exposed strips vertically in the specimen for at least 10–15 seconds.
- Immerse the strips to at least the level of the wavy lines, but do not allow the urine level to pass above the arrows.
- Replace the cap, place the card on a flat, nonabsorbent surface and start the timer.
- Read the drug-screen results at five minutes.
Important: Review the complete package insert before performing the test. A clean, dry urine collection container and timer are required but are not supplied with the test cards.
