Facilities performing the ID750 test under a CLIA Certificate of Waiver must follow the manufacturer’s test-system instructions, intended use, limitations and quality-control requirements.

Recommended Quality-Control Procedure

1 Peel back the label on an unused Accutest device so the yellow pad is visible.
2 Place one small drop of control solution directly on the testing pad.
3 Reseal the control bottle immediately after use.
4 Observe the test surface for a color change from yellow to magenta.
The manufacturer recommends performing one positive external control when opening a new test kit; the test-kit size must not exceed 50 tests. Always follow the current control instructions and the Accutest ID750 package insert.
