How to Perform the Test
- Allow the sealed test card, urine specimen and any controls to reach room temperature between 59–86°F (15–30°C).
- Remove the test card from its sealed pouch and use it promptly.
- Remove the cap and, with the arrows pointing toward the specimen, immerse the strips vertically in the urine for at least 10–15 seconds.
- Immerse the strips to at least the level of the wavy lines, but do not allow the urine to pass above the arrows.
- Replace the cap, place the card on a flat nonabsorbent surface and start the timer.
- Read the drug-screen results at five minutes.
Important: Always review and follow the package insert supplied with the test before collecting a specimen, performing the test or interpreting a result.
