How to Perform the Test
Wait at least 15 minutes after the last alcohol intake or drink a glass of water before testing. Bring all test materials to room temperature for approximately 15 minutes.
Remove the strip from its sealed pouch immediately before use. The unused test pad should be light cream in color and no darker than the negative color block on the pouch.
Completely saturate the test pad with saliva for 5–10 seconds and start the timer immediately. Do not place the test strip in the mouth.
Compare the test pad color with the color blocks printed on the pouch. Do not interpret the result after 3 minutes.
