Intended-use notice: For in vitro diagnostic use in employment and insurance testing. Not for clinical diagnosis. This product provides a qualitative, preliminary screening result. A more specific analytical method must be used to obtain a confirmed result. GC/MS or LC/MS-MS are the preferred confirmatory methods. Apply professional judgment to all drug-test results, particularly preliminary positive results. This test does not determine impairment.

Drug Panel and Cutoff Levels

Detectable Drug Abbreviation Cutoff
Amphetamine AMP 50 ng/mL

About oral-fluid detection windows: The period during which a substance may be detected varies by the substance, cutoff level, dose, frequency and timing of use, specimen collection and individual metabolism. Oral-fluid testing generally reflects a shorter detection period than urine testing. Do not use urine detection-time estimates for this oral-fluid test, and do not interpret a result as a measure of impairment. Follow the instructions supplied with the product.

Basic Test Procedure

Prepare for collection
Do not place food, drink, gum or tobacco products in the mouth for at least 10 minutes before collection. Bring the kit and specimen to room temperature before testing.

Collect oral fluid
Place the sponge end of the collector on the tongue or near the cheek for about three minutes, until the saturation indicator turns red.

Insert the collector
Place the saturated collector inside the test cube, press it firmly to the bottom, close the lid tightly and keep the cube upright on a flat surface.

Read at five minutes
Interpret the result at five minutes. Do not read the test after five minutes.

Instructions and Regulatory Documents

What Is Oral-Fluid Drug Testing?

Oral-fluid testing uses a saliva specimen collected with the device supplied with the test. Because collection can be directly observed and does not require a restroom, it can be a convenient option for workplace and other drug-screening programs.

Oral-fluid testing is also commonly called saliva testing, mouth-swab testing or oral drug testing. It generally reflects more recent exposure than urine testing, but the exact detection period cannot be guaranteed and varies by substance and individual circumstances.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the intended use of this oral-fluid test?

The package insert identifies the test for in vitro diagnostic use in employment and insurance testing. It is not for clinical diagnosis.

What does this six-panel saliva drug test screen for?

It screens oral fluid for amphetamine (AMP), cocaine (COC), methamphetamine (MET), opiates (OPI), phencyclidine (PCP) and marijuana (THC).

How quickly are results available?

Read results at five minutes. The package insert states not to read the test after five minutes.

What specimen does the test use?

The test uses human oral fluid, commonly called saliva. Follow the instructions supplied with the product for specimen collection and testing.

What is the detection window for an oral-fluid drug test?

There is no single detection window for every drug or donor. Detection varies with the substance, cutoff, dose, timing and frequency of use, collection and individual metabolism. Oral-fluid testing generally has a shorter detection period than urine testing.

Does this test determine whether someone is impaired?

No. A positive or negative screening result does not determine impairment.

Is a presumptive positive result final?

No. This is a qualitative screening test. A presumptive positive result should be confirmed using a more specific analytical method and evaluated under the applicable testing program or policy.

Are MET and MAMP the same panel abbreviation?

Both abbreviations are used for methamphetamine. This page uses MET for consistency, while some product labels or catalogs may show MAMP.

How many tests are included?

Each box contains 25 six-panel saliva/oral-fluid drug tests.

How should the tests be stored?

Store each test in its sealed pouch at 4°C-30°C (39°F-86°F) until the expiration date printed on the packaging. Keep the test away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat, and do not freeze it.

Security at Stripe: Learn how Stripe handles security.

A PCI-certified auditor has audited Stripe. We’re a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.

HTTPS and HSTS for secure connections

Stripe forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including our public website and the Dashboard to ensure secure connections:

  • Stripe.js is served only over TLS.
  • Stripe’s official libraries connect to Stripe’s servers over TLS and verify TLS certificates on each connection.

We regularly audit the details of our implementation, including the certificates we serve, the certificate authorities we use, and the ciphers we support. We use HSTS to ensure that browsers interact with Stripe only over HTTPS. Stripe is also on the HSTS preloaded lists for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Sensitive data and communication encryption

All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plain text card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allowlist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services including our API and website.
