How to Perform the Test

Prepare: Allow the test device and urine specimen to reach 15-30°C (59-86°F) before testing.

Open and identify: Remove the device from its foil pouch, remove the cap and label the device as required.

Dip: Immerse the absorbent tip in the urine specimen for 10-15 seconds. Do not allow the urine to touch the plastic device.

Lay flat: Replace the cap and place the device on a clean, nonabsorbent, level surface.

Read: Interpret the result at 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.

Negative: Two lines appear, one in the control region and one in the test region. Any visible test line, including a faint distinguishable line, is interpreted as negative.
